How to Verify if You've Received a Student's Tuition Payment

This article outlines the different ways you can verify whether a student’s quarterly tuition payment has been received.


There are two primary places you can check for payment confirmation: your Odyssey School Account and your Stripe Account.
 

Odyssey School Account

Verifying Individual Students

  1. Log into your Odyssey School Account
  2. Click on [Tuition Fees] or [Enter Tuition & Fees]
  3. Select the tab for the quarter you're searching for. In this case, we will click [Q1 Paid]. 
  4. Scroll through the list to locate the student, or enter their information in the search bar and press Enter.
  5. Once you've located the student, click on the arrow on the right side to see more details. 
    • You will be able to see the quarterly amount paid and the date the payment was made. 

        

Verifying Students in Bulk

  1. Log into your Odyssey School Account
  2. Click on [Tuition Fees] or [Enter Tuition & Fees]
  3. Select the Tab for the quarter you're searching for. In this case, we will click [Q1 Paid]. 
  4. Click [Download Students CSV]. 
  5. Review the information available.
    1. You will be able to see information for each student, including the enrollment ID, quarterly payment status, quarterly payment amount, and quarterly payment date. 


 

Stripe 

Verifying through the Transactions Tab

  1. Log into your Stripe Account.
  2. Click on [Transactions] in the left side menu. 
  3. Select [Payments] so that you can see all of the payments you have received.
    1. Click on the transaction you're interested in. Once selected, you’ll see detailed information on the left side, including the enrollment ID, student name, and tuition payment ID. You’ll also be able to view the payment date and tuition amount.



      OR
    2. Download all payments in bulk by clicking [Export] and selecting the specific timeframe you're interested in seeing. You'll be able to see information such as payment amount, enrollment ID, student name, and tuition payment ID for all transactions. 


      Example of an exported sheet: 

  1. If you desire, you can compare the students found on Stripe with the students in the Paid tab of your Odyssey School Account. 
     

Searching for Individual Students

  1. Log into your Stripe Account.
  2. On the search bar, place the student's name or their enrollment ID. 
    • The enrollment ID can be found in your Odyssey School Account under the student's name or in the CSV you can download. 
  3. If funds have been transferred for that student, you'll see their transaction and will be able to click on it to see details such as tuition amount, payment date, student name, enrollment ID, and tuition payment ID.
