This article is intended to show Louisiana applicants how to review and confirm the tuition & fees set by their school.
After the BESE-Approved Nonpublic School confirms your enrollment request, they will be able to set tuition & fees for the school year. The amount will then be visible in your Odyssey Account so you can confirm it. You can complete this process in the dashboard or in the Student's Profile.
Dashboard:
- Log into your account.
- Find the student whose tuition you need to confirm.
- Click on [Confirm Tuition].
- Review the amount.
- If correct, click [Confirm].
- If incorrect, click [Deny]. This will allow the school to redo the tuition & fees amount.
If the tuition is confirmed and you have received funds, you'll be able to send the tuition payment. To do so, navigate to the wallet and follow the steps outlined here.
Student Profile:
- Log into your account.
- Click on [Student Profiles].
- Find the student whose tuition you need to confirm.
- Scroll to the [Review tuition & fees] section of their profile.
- Review the amount.
- If correct, click [Confirm].
- If incorrect, click [Deny]. This will allow the school to redo the tuition & fees amount.
- If the tuition is confirmed and you have received funds, you'll be able to send the tuition payment. To do so, navigate to the wallet and follow the steps outlined here.
*If applicable, repeat for all additional students.
Please note that confirming the amount does not mean the funds will automatically be sent to the school. If funded, you will have the option to allocate the funds toward tuition payments each quarter and/or use them in the Marketplace. Tuition is an agreement between a family and a school. Any fees not covered by the LA GATOR Scholarship Program funding are the responsibility of the family. Please plan your fund usage accordingly and keep this in mind before making Marketplace purchases.
Keep in mind that an Eligible application status does not guarantee approval or funding. Final approval and award amounts depend on the availability of state funds, which will be allocated based on the program's priority guidelines.
