How to Select the School Your Child Will Attend

This article is for LA GATOR families to understand how to select the school their child will be attending. 

Once you have completed your application, you will be redirected to your Odyssey dashboard, where you will see your latest application status. Regardless of status, you will be able to select the school your child will attend. 

Selecting a school in your Dashboard: 

1. Find the student whose school you want to select.
2. Click the [Select School] button in their profile.
   • If you've already selected a school, but want to change it, please click [Change School]. 
     
   • Please note, you will see the [Select School] or [Change School] option under all the eligible students you applied for.
3. Search for your school in the dropdown by scrolling until you find it or typing the school's name. 
   
4. Select the school.
5. Click [Confirm Selection].
   

*If applicable, repeat for all additional students.

Selecting a school in your Student Profile:

1. Click on the [Student Profiles] tab on the sidebar. 
   
2. Click on the student whose school you want to select. 
   
3. Once in their profile, click on the [Select School] button.
   • If you've already selected a school, but want to change it, please click [Change School].
   • Please note, you will see the [Select School] or [Change School] option under all the eligible students you applied for.
4. Search for your school in the dropdown by scrolling until you find it or typing the school's name. 
   
5. Select the school.
6. Click [Confirm Selection].
